The US Business Group provides support to international clients doing business in the US, and US Clients seeking to do business internationally. Grundberg Mocatta Rakison LLP has senior qualified US attorneys amongst their lawyers and several of them have spent a substantial part of their careers practicing as partners in global US law firms.
In these capacities, we have experience representing Fortune 500 companies in cross border settings and supporting their operations in overseas markets as well as public and private equity investors pursuing opportunities in the US and abroad. Few UK firms are able to claim a national US capability, but GMR is able to comfortably state that it has local contacts in every US state and most of its territories. We have represented clients in major, midsized and minor transactions as well as complex cross border litigation and arbitration. We also regularly provide legal support to US firms.
The focus of our practice includes US corporate, public and private securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions, fund development, commercial regulatory issues, intellectual property, distribution and franchising, litigation and arbitration.
On the US side our industry sectors include financial sector regulation and compliance; public and private company compliance; commercial real estate investment, as well as international commercial arbitration and litigation.
For US clients abroad we specialize in cross border European, Asian and African investment, cross border IPOs, AIM listings, private equity investments; general corporate advice, project finance, restructurings, international and UK commercial regulatory and legislative matters and international litigation and arbitration.
Our international sector activity includes: energy, oil gas and mining, technology, construction, real estate, IP/IT, insolvency and litigation.
