At Grundberg Mocatta Rakison LLP we are able to advise clients facing divorce proceedings or Civil Partnership dissolution or simply who find themselves in a family situation that may require the division of assets. We have particular experience in cases which involve other jurisdictions.
Many of our clients are employed by, or own international corporations. Our tax and private client department is well versed in the establishment of trusts and corporate structures involving a wide variety of jurisdictions. We also have knowledge of cultural differences and therefore are well placed to advise our clients with such issues.
This experience ensures that our clients are well cared for during what can be, an emotional, stressful and difficult time. We realise that each client will require individual advice depending on a multitude of differing circumstances, and we take pride in meeting these requirements on a one to one basis.
We have advised international clients for nearly 30 years which has enabled us to build up a large network of trusted advisors worldwide, to whom we can refer clients when their best interests so require.
Finally, after the conclusion of any matrimonial or Civil Partnership issues we can advise on the client's testamentary affairs so that assets are passed onto the next generation in a tax efficient manner, in accordance with the wishes of the client.
In addition, GMR's family lawyers regularly advise on:
-
Pre-nuptial agreements
-
Co-habitation agreements
-
Ancillary Relief i.e. capital settlements and periodical payments (maintenance)
-
Division of Pensions
-
Off shore trusts
-
Post nuptials
