Robert Rakison was admitted as a solicitor in 1974. He concentrates his practice in international company and commercial law with a special emphasis on US and cross-border mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. He also has extensive experience advising on venture capital investment, raising private equity capital and debt finance for entrepreneurial companies (particularly e-commerce and technology) and structuring financial and business transactions. Additional areas of experience include advising on licensing, agency and franchise agreements, employment law as well as on a wide variety of banking and US and UK securities and financial services matters.
